In just three hours, National Homes sells out Westmount in Oakville
The market is hopping. More than a thousand
families registered for a chance to attend Nation-
al’s new release of just 54 singles and side-by-
side semis at Oakville’s Westmount in Glen Abbey.
That’s a remarkable number of people looking to
buy in a small infill project, but then National was
advertising "the lowest freehold prices in West-
mount."
To be scrupulously fair, National invited small
groups– strictly in the order they had registered—to at-
tend last week’s preview. Three hours after the doors
were opened, every single home had been bought.
"We knew we had something special here at West-
mount," said National’s marketing manager, Deena
Pantalone, "but we certainly didn’t expect to sell out in
hours. It’s very gratifying and very exciting to have a
response like this."
The now-sold-out Phase 1 included freehold side-by-
side semis priced from the $280’s and 30-foot greenbelt
and park singles priced from the $380’s.
If you missed out, the good news is that there are more
homes coming early next year. The next phase of West-
mount will be the last ever released in this sought-after
Glen Abbey neighbourhood and will consist of condo-
minium town homes. National will keep the existing list
of registrants to give anyone who missed out a second
opportunity to purchase. If you’re not already on that list, you can register your name now.
"It’s clear that there are a lot of people who want
to own in Westmount and we want to do everything
we can to help them. That’s why we’re already push-
ing ahead to get our next phase ready as quickly as
possible."
Why all the excitement about Westmount? National,
which has been voted Oakville’s favourite home builder,
has elegant home designs, designed by an award-win-
ning architect and attractive prices, but perhaps the
most important reason is that it’s such a beautiful place
to live. There’s lots for families to do in Glen Abbey’s
Westmount, with parks and schools and great shopping
all in the neighbourhood. And, with greenbelt and park-
land bordering two sides of the community, there’s a
whole world of hiking and biking just waiting for you.
Of course, for golfers, the internationally-famous Glen
Abbey Course is just down the road, and best of all,
it’s a public course— so, if you want a real challenge,
you can book yourself a tee time. Transportation is a
dream with Highway 403 just to the north, the QEW to
the south and the GO train station just a few minute’s
drive away.
If you’re looking for one final chance to get into
National’s Westmount, register now at 416-746-1234
or visit www.nationalhomes.com and register for your
preview. Phase 2 is coming early next year, quantities
will be limited and you wouldn’t want to miss out. So
hop to it.
